New York Cracks Down On Tinted Car Windows

Effective January 1, 2017 all New York State Department of Motor Vehicle licensed inspection stations are required to measure window tint before approving a vehicle as inspected.  To pass inspection the vehicle windows must allow at least 70 percent of light into the vehicle.
